My path to nuclear consulting was unconventional — and that's exactly what makes it effective.
I spent a decade working on complex, web-based systems at Lockheed Martin and IT oversight at Amazon before moving into nuclear operations, where I spent 15 years at Columbia Generating Station, leading quality assurance engagements, performance improvement and emergency preparedness departments. That combination — understanding how technology gets built AND what it takes to make it work inside a plant — safely — shapes everything I do.
I can sit across from operators, RP technicians, mechanics, supply chain staff, and plant leadership just as comfortably as I can with leadership, engineers, and IT teams. I speak the language of the field and the language of the executive suite, because I’ve worked in both.
I am fluent in NRC regulatory requirements, industry Performance Excellence standards, and how software actually gets built. That combination — operational credibility across every discipline, fluency in regulatory and industry standards, and genuine technical depth — is what makes HJK Services different.

In 2020, HJK Services implemented one of the nuclear industry’s first AI-assisted corrective action screening programs — not a pilot, but production use inside a licensed nuclear facility, meeting all regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
